Job Summary

We are seeking an organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our office-based team in Totnes. The successful candidate will support the sales function by managing customer enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, production, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders, quotations, and enquiries accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and issue sales documentation including quotations, order confirmations, and invoices.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM/ERP system.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries via phone and email.
  • Liaise with production, planning, and quality teams to track order progress.
  • Assist with delivery coordination and liaise with logistics providers.
  • Produce regular sales and order reports for management.
  • Support the sales team with general administrative duties.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service, or office administration role.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of order processing and logistics coordination.
