Class 2 Driver - Days

Job description

RH Fibreboard Containers Ltd is looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our transport team in Thornbury. This customer-facing role is responsible for delivering corrugated packaging products across Bristol and the South West while maintaining the highest standards of safety, service and compliance.

Key responsibilities, skills and experience

• Operate company vehicles ranging from 1.5 to 21 tonnes safely and in line with legislation and company procedures.
• Deliver products accurately and efficiently to customers across Bristol and the South West.
• Complete daily vehicle safety, maintenance and defect checks.
• Load, secure, transport and unload products safely while protecting product quality.
• Complete delivery notes, vehicle paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and the Transport Manager.
• Report vehicle defects, delivery issues, delays or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow all road transport, driving hours and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Hold a valid Class 2 driving entitlement and meet relevant driver compliance requirements.
