In September, we were delighted to welcome Goonvean staff and their families to our very first Family Celebration. The event was a huge success and a fantastic chance for Goonvean staff to share more about the place they work with the people who know them best.
Welcoming families to the new site
We’re incredibly proud of the new Goonvean Group site at Cullompton, and bringing everyone together on this very special evening was a great opportunity to share the exciting things we’ve been doing firsthand.
Goonvean Group is in an exciting phase of transformational growth. That level of progress brings change, new challenges and sometimes extra pressure for our teams, which we know families at home can feel too. Matthew Gazzard, Goonvean Group Managing Director, said: “On behalf of all my colleagues and all my staff members, I’d like to say what a fantastic job they all do – and what a fantastic job you, their families, do of supporting them.”
Celebrating Goonvean’s rebrand and growth
The Family Celebration was also about celebrating the first year of Goonvean being rebranded and the connection that has been nurtured throughout the Group. Our rebrand has helped bring each business that makes up Goonvean Group closer together.
The event featured several site tours for guests to learn more about the resident businesses. Each tour was guided by an expert who gave an overview of each business and some insight into what they specialise in. Our hope was that every visitor would take away some new understanding of where their family works, and why it is so important to the continued success of the group.
Before the tours began, Matthew once again expressed his thanks: “On behalf of everybody from the Goonvean Group, thank you very much for the support you give.”
