Atwell Labellers, part of Dura-ID Solutions, recently hosted a highly successful Customer and OEM Networking Evening at Weston-super-Mare Football Club. The event brought together customers, partners, and colleagues from across Goonvean Group.
Sponsorship with a collaborative focus
Atwell Labellers and Dura-ID Solutions recently announced their joint pitch-side sponsorship of Weston-super-Mare AFC, a football club located just down the road from Goonvean Group headquarters. Known affectionately as The Seagulls, their home ground – the Woodspring Stadium – has always been a hub for the local community.
Atwell Labellers and Dura-ID were delighted to be invited to the WsM AFC pre-season kit launch event, where they could view their sponsorship banners proudly displayed pitch-side.
Customer VIP matchdays, which combine local football support with internal networking and hospitality, are also planned as part of the partnership. Atwell Labellers’ networking evening was one of these VIP events.
The goal of the networking event at WsM AFC
The networking event was created to give customers the opportunity to meet the machinery and label sales teams from Atwell Labellers and Dura-ID Solutions, to strengthen relationships and showcase the breadth of support Goonvean Group can offer.
To maximise collaboration, colleagues from RH Fibreboard and Goonvean Core Engineering joined the hosts. This enabled guests to learn more about the wider capabilities and solutions available across the group.
Exciting opportunities on the horizon
The event proved to be a phenomenal success, enjoyed by staff and customers alike. Several promising opportunities have already emerged from the collaborative evening, with the potential to convert into valuable new machinery, label, and packaging sales over the coming months.
To round off the night, attendees were treated to a fantastic match. Weston-super-Mare FC secured a 4–1 victory and moved to the top of the league – the perfect finish to an outstanding evening of networking and partnership building.
