NDE Solutions
NDE Solutions (formerly North Devon Electronics) boasts many years of commercial experience in the coil winding and electronics industry. Historically operating out of Braunton, Devon, the company has expanded into purpose built facilities at the Engineering Centre of Excellence in Cullompton, Devon.
The growth and customer reach by the business has been significant to date. To help support the company to continue on its growth trajectory it became evident that further operating space was required along with an investment in new technology.
Solution
The management proposed to move to the Group’s Engineering Excellence Centre based at Cullompton and invest in its moulding capabilities.
This would leave the skills and capabilities of ‘winding components’ as established at the Braunton site, whilst providing an enhanced facility for moulding and product quality inspection at Cullompton. Final product shipment would happen at Cullompton, as it is ideally positioned close to the M5 motorway corridor. The Goonvean Group Board supported and approved this proposal.
Outcome
The implementation of the project has provided immediate new and valuable space, improved capabilities and a refocus for the company to expand its customer base at a time of high demand.

They have an enviable reputation as suppliers of high quality, energy-efficient electronic components to Lighting Designers, Architects, Contractors and many other specialist sectors.
Located in St. Austell, Cornwall, Goonvean Aggregates is a major supplier of aggregates, sands and gravels, with the ability to process, wash and produce an extensive range of granite based secondary aggregates.
Operating out of a number of the Group’s locations, Equinoxx provide a diverse range of IT services, encompassing business management systems, mobile-friendly design, integrations, data analytics, and more.
