Precision Casting Ltd
Operating from a redesigned and technologically advanced facility in Totnes, Devon, Precision Casting (formerly known as Foundry & Fabrications Totnes Ltd) is the largest aluminium foundry in the South West and has more than 50 years experience making high-quality aluminium castings.
Both the infrastructure and the equipment had become aged and somewhat outdated. Based on the trust in the skills and capability of the site management team and the opportunity of expanding the scope of services from the visibility of new demand, a major capital ‘rebuild’ was warranted.
Solution
The site management team presented a proposed complete demolition and rebuild of the site infrastructure.
At the same time the investment in world class technology which would support a significant increase in capacity and quality of the end product. The Goonvean Group Board approved the proposed investment.
Outcome
The project has commenced and is well on track to be completed early 2025.

Known for their product ingenuity and excellent customer service, UK LED Lighting operate from Goonvean Group’s Engineering Centre of Excellence. They have an enviable reputation as suppliers of high quality, energy-efficient electronic components to Lighting Designers, Architects, Contractors and many other specialist sectors.
Located in St. Austell, Cornwall, Goonvean Aggregates is a major supplier of aggregates, sands and gravels, with the ability to process, wash and produce an extensive range of granite based secondary aggregates.
Operating out of a number of the Group’s locations, Equinoxx provide a diverse range of IT services, encompassing business management systems, mobile-friendly design, integrations, data analytics, and more.
